The camp check-in time will be from 8:00 - 8:45 am on Saturday, December 5 at Tiger Field. Camp starts at 9:00 am on December 5, 2009. Camp ends at Tiger Field at 4:00 on Sunday, December 6.

Pick up players at Tiger Field

This is a camp centered around specific drills and instruction to take your son to the next level in baseball. No trophies or T-shirts are offered, but instead 12 hours of intense instruction on the fundamentals.

COST: $275 payable at one time and is ABSOLUTELY NON-REFUNDABLE

After sending in your application and check, you will recieve a confirmation letter.

GOALS: To improve, teach and develop skills in a specific defensive position in the game of baseball. More in depth instruction on the fundamentals, drills, skills, and techniques needed to advance to the next level. Except for pitchers, each other defesive specialty position will include hitting instruction as well. Choices are Pitching Camp, Catching/ Hitting Camp, Infielder/ Hitting Camp, and Outfielder/ Hitting Camp.

Who May Attend: Any serious baseball player in 9th grade or above. Seniors in High School may attend and are encouraged. Enrollment will be limited and is guaranteed on a first come, first serve basis. Reserver your spot now, as the camp will fill quickly.

GROUPING: Campers will generally be grouped in age groups of (15-16) and (17-18) in each specific defensive group. Group choices include:

1. Pitchers 2. Catchers/Hitters
3. Infielders/Hitters 4. Outfielders/Hitters


FACILITIES: There is an excellently maintained College Baseball Field, Secondary Field, Expansive Batting Tee Areas, Pitching Mounds, and plenty of space for drills.

CAMPER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Must bring a recent physical and insurance information if you did not already attend a 2010 Summer Baseball Camp at Clemson.
  2. Responsible for your own lodging arrangements. Suggestions are enclosed. No dorms are available.
  3. Responsible for your own transportation to and from your hotel to the sessions.
  4. Responsible for your own meals: Breakfast, 1/2 hour lunch, and dinner. Pizza will be available to buy at lunch.
  5. Send $275 check to address on application to reserve your spot now. (Absolutely Non-refundable)
  6. Catchers bring your own gear, if you have it.
  7. Campers check in at 8:00 am on Saturday, December 4 at Tiger Field, ready to go, if you have pre-registered from 7:30 pm-9:00pm Friday night at the Comfort Inn.
  8. Players are encouraged to wear their school or summer uniforms, but is not absolutely necessary.

Infielders/Hitters Directed by Jack Leggett, Clemson's Head Coach
Outfielders/Hitters Directed by Tom Riginos, Clemson's Outfield Coach
Catchers/Hitters Directed by Eddie Hill, Head Coach of Rock Hill High School and 22-year veteran of the Clemson Baseball Camps

Former Clemson Players now playing professional baseball will be utilized as instructors as well as top college and high school coaches.
